Shared note | BIRTH: Informant was his father, William, who lived at 23 Beechbank Crescent, Kelty. Twin to Elizabeth Wilma BIOGRAPHY: Learned to play the cornet in a brass band at the age of 10. Played in Kelty & Blairadam Brass Band, Solent Brass and Ocean Brass. Was admitted into membership of Isacc Watts Memorial Church on 21 June 1992, by transfer from Kelty Parish Church. inducted as an elder in the Church of Scotland in about 1980/81 and later as an elder in the URC in 1992. Served as church secretary and church treasurer at Isacc Watts Memorial Church in Southampton. Hobbies include growing bonsai. CHRISTENING: The back of the birth certificate contains the handwritten text "Baptised in Kelty Oakfield Church of Scotland. 10th April 1960".
